This program will be an Introduction to Scientific Glassblowing and Neon Tube Bending. Douglas Navalinsky of  NavCour Glassware, LLC will do a brief overview of the history of each of these trades. He will discuss the types of glass that they are using, and the tools and equipment that they use. Also, how scientific glass is used in the industry and in research, and the use of neon for commercial signage.
