ELYRIA PUBLIC LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Register | This year, we have three registration options.
- Option 1: Register online through Beanstack. Online registration opens May 27. If you already have a Beanstack account, there is no need to create a new one. Just log in to your account, to join the "Color Our World" Summer Reading Program.
- Option 2: Visit any EPL location to register in person.
- Option 3: Call any EPL location to register via phone.
Step 2. Track your Reading | The more you read, the more chances you have to win.
- Participants may track their reading via paper log which can be picked up at any EPL location.
- Participants of all ages may track their reading online via Beanstack, beginning May 27. Online participants will earn badges. The more you read, the more badges you will earn.
- Child and teen participants have set goals to complete their summer reading challenge.
- Littles ( 0 - 5) | Read 10 books.
- Children (6 - 12) | Read 10 hours.
- Teens (13 - 17) | Read 10 hours.
- Adults (18+) | Read 3 books.
Step 3. Have Fun! | Relax and enjoy your summer with a good book in your hands. Remember to visit the library for reading materials along with special events through the summer. See our calendar of events.
